How the trial works

When you register, you go through a short onboarding, then straight to Stripe checkout. We ask for a card upfront — no surprise charges, just a clean boundary: the trial runs for exactly 7 days, then billing starts automatically at your plan rate.

If you decide NextLabs isn't right for your lab, cancel anytime from the billing portal during the trial. You keep full access until the 7 days are up.

Experiments & executions. Create experiments, attach protocols, execute step-by-step with branching logic. Every execution is linked back to the protocol version and the samples involved. Audit trail built in.

Protocol management. Write and version protocols with structured steps. Branch logic handles conditional paths — failed viability check, out-of-range result, positive control failure — without workarounds.

Inventory. Track reagents, consumables, and equipment with quantity, expiry, and lot number. Alerts fire before stock-outs happen. Usage is linked to experiment runs automatically.

Sample tracking. Full chain of custody from receipt to disposal. Metadata, location, status, and linkage to experiments — in one place.

Inbox. Team messaging scoped to conversations, with real-time presence indicators so you know who's online before you send.

Storage. Per-organization virtual file system with folder-level permissions, drag-and-drop upload, and direct R2 delivery.
